Patient Story – Complex Root Canal Specialist Treatment

Root canal treatments are a highly successful treatment option for saving teeth and the high success rate depends on two factors: the anatomy of the tooth and the expertise of the dentist. It is generally accepted that the front teeth tend to have simple anatomy and back teeth tend to have complex anatomy and should be treated by a specialist. This blog is about a case that broke this “rule” i.e. it was a front tooth with complex anatomy. Although a mistake was made, Neha (our root canal specialist) successfully used all her skill and experience to treat this front tooth and the patient was just happy that there was a reasonable chance of her keeping this tooth for the forseable future.
