Patient Story – Cost-effectively Securing Loose Upper Dentures

Dentures have been used to replace teeth for centuries and one of the main reasons dental implants gained wide acceptance in the 1980s was because of the huge number of patients with problematic dentures. The scientific evidence is now extremely clear that 2-3 dental implants to help retain a lower denture is life changing. In fact, the World Health Organisation now says that all patients that do not have teeth should have 2 implants in the lower jaw to help stabilise well fitting upper and lower dentures.
