The coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has affected all our lives in various ways, and we have all had to make changes. The UK Prime Minister’s announcement of a national lockdown commencing on 5 November 2020 has cause some concern amongst our patients.
As a practice, we have invested heavily in additional PPE and a new patient journey and as a result, I can confirm that we are open and able to offer ALL our specialist treatments. The number of patients we can treat per day has reduced for obvious reasons but we are still here to serve you.
We understand that some patients may have concerns returning to see the dentist and hygiene team amid the pandemic. We understand however can assure you there is no need to worry.
Our specialist team is working at full capability and we are still accepting new patients.
Keeping you safe
We have been experts in infection control for decades, the dentist really is a good place to be.
Public Health England, World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Centres for Disease Control (CDC) have indicated that there are no cases of Covid-19 transmission in dental practices. This is no reason to be complacent and would like to reassure you that as dental professionals, we have always been and will always be committed to use effective protection protocols to keep our patients safe from any infection.
Don’t forget to book your hygienist and specialist dentist appointments
It is super important that you maintain your teeth, gums and smile, especially through this stressful time.
We are mindful of the fact that there is a balance to be struck between ensuring that you are able to access all dental treatments (especially preventive maintenance) and facilitating social distancing to reduce the risk of transmission in the practice. Our policies and procedures are designed to always strike the right balance of keeping you safe whilst providing the excellent dental service that you have become accustomed to.
Remember: Your Dental treatment is not expensive when you see us regularly.
Remote access
We are now providing more remote consultations, which saves you a trip to see us and means we can have a chat from the comfort of your home or office.
We offer remote video calls with clinicians for Invisalign reviews, new patient meet-and-greets, treatment presentations and treatment consents. We are always forward-thinking – and this is the way forward!
