Patient Story – Dental Implant Replacement of Front Tooth

Dental trauma in childhood is a very common occurrence and can be successfully treated by root canal treatment. However, these patients almost always “dread” the day when those root canal treatments fail because they would have been told about their need for a dental implant when they were teenagers.

As you can imagine, this hangs over these patients like a sword of Damocles for many years because of the fear of the unknown. Although it took about 1 year to complete, we were able to show Imogen that the current dental implant techniques are able to produce teeth that look very natural.
