Patient Story – Single Visit Pocket Reduction & Dental Implant Treatment

This is the second part of the blog post from yesterday. In addition to the cyst removal in the lower left, this lovely patient had gum flap surgery on most of her back teeth under intravenous sedation (to make her comfortable).

The upper left first premolar had a really deep pocket and a crack so I replaced that tooth with a same day dental implant. She then had a lovely root canal treatment with Neha (our root canal specialist).

At the end of treatment, the sensation to the lip was normal and all her gum pockets were 4mm or less which led to a very satisfied patient who is highly likely to keep her teeth for a very long time because she cleans her teeth so well.
