Newsletter – June 2021
It’s been a hectic couple of months, summer is on its way … hopefully!
And, yes “normality” is in sight, the team at London Dental Specialists are very busy getting ready for the big reveal!
When social distancing relaxes and the face masks come off, you will want to smile with confidence. That’s why we are here to help out!
Just to remind patients, we are very much focused on maintaining our high standard of cross-infection safety measures, and there is a reminder of our entry protocol on our website here
Wonderful Patient story: This is a great story where our specialist endodontist put her experience to the test.
Root canal treatments are a highly successful treatment option for saving teeth and the high success rate depends on two factors: the anatomy of the tooth and the expertise of the dentist. It is generally accepted that the front teeth tend to have simple anatomy and back teeth tend to have complex anatomy and should be treated by a specialist. This blog is about a case that broke this “rule” i.e. it was a front tooth with complex anatomy. Neha (our root canal specialist) successfully used her skills and experience to treat this front tooth. The patient was relieved that there was a reasonable chance of her keeping this tooth for the foreseeable future.

Ope, I think I need a full mouth reconstruction
For many years Miriam suffered from missing, loose and bad teeth. She really thought she needed a full mouth reconstruction. She was expecting all her teeth to be removed – Miriam was pleasantly surprised that this wasn’t the case.
She found us here at London dental Specialists via Google and this was her wonderful journey back to confidence.
We organised a payment plan for Miriam, which suited her budget and lifestyle, and now, after a short period of time, simply radiates with confidence.
We treat ordinary people, like you.

Something from the heart…for Ope
Being a dental specialist continues to be a real privilege.
To be let into the lives of patients who are struggling daily and provide a treatment that is life-changing is truly a gift.
The service provided is wholly individualised as no two patients or treatment pathways are the same. As a specialist, I need to stay on top of the latest literature and utilise every tiny part of evidence-based reasoning to guide my clinical practice and provide our patients with a choice.
I love stepping out of my direct clinical role to ensure that we have a highly organised, efficient, and on all levels, compassionate and caring team.
I want every patient to feel as if they are the only patient I am treating and solving their problem at any given time.
