Patient Story – Consequences of Dental Trauma – Part 2

This is the 2^nd  part of a 2 part blog in which I hope to illustrate the intimate relationship between root canal treatments and dental implants in all situations i.e. it is always important to look at important to think about the two treatment options at the same time. In this blog, I describe a case where the root canal treatment lasted for a very short period of time before the patient lost confidence in the tooth. Although the result of the root canal treatment was exceptional, the tooth remained loose because of the fracture and the tooth was subsequently replaced with a beautiful dental implant.  This exceptional teamwork between 2 specialists led to a very happy patient
