03 Dec Patient Story – Treating Severe Gum Disease Part 1
Gum disease is an incredibly common condition and a leading cause of tooth loss. Only 10% of human beings will not get gum disease. Unfortunately, it is a “silent” disease i.e. many times, there are no symptoms and by the time the tooth becomes loose, it is impossible to save the tooth. This is the first part of a a 2-part blog. It describes the treatment of lovely patient who was referred to me by an excellent hygienist who picked up the gum disease early enough so that we could treat the disease with gum surgery and root canal treatments.
We really believe in saving teeth and in the unlikely event that this treatment is unsuccessful in 12 months, we will deduct the costs you have paid from those of a dental implant.
