I found this Dental Practice by searching for ‘Specialist Implant Dentistry’ on Google. I was really impressed with Dr Ope’s credentials and really wanted to see a Dentist that was registered in the specialist area of Periodontics on the GDC council. I had my first consultation yesterday and will shortly be having a CBT scan to see exactly which tooth is causing my infection. I am pleased with the treatment I have had so far. Dr Ope is really polite, patient, professional and cordial. I am so pleased that I found this surgery as my infection has been ongoing since Jan this year. A few months after a failed re-root canal treatment at a different Dental Surgery I started looking for a Dentist that I can trust and from speaking to Dr Ope I felt that he was trustworthy as he really cared. Dr Ope provides the same care, attention and treatment that he would give to his own mother or daughter and any Dentist that will do that is a phenomenal Dentist in my eyes and quite hard to find. 😊 The Receptionist, Practice Manger and Trainee Dental Nurse are all really helpful, polite, professional and patient too.  🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Update: I had a CBT scan on Tue 26th Oct which confirmed I had an abscess on my bone. On Thu 28th Oct I had an appointment with Dr Ope where he extracted UL6 and it was a phenomenal success. The tooth extraction was so painless I didn't even realise Dr Ope had extracted the tooth. I thought he was still removing my crown when he kindly informed me we were all done. I was completely shocked. He kindly gave me an Ibuprofen and said I can take another one at 20:00 that day and then another one the following day but when it came to 20:00 I didn't need to take another tablet, amazing. I could tell that I had a tooth taken out but it wasn't painful. The next day I did not need to take a painkiller either. I could feel something but I wasn't in any pain. I even went to work and just continued as normal with my day. I was ecstatic. The tooth extraction was so successful that I didn't even need to bite on a gauze pad for the next couple of hours as the bleeding had already stopped, amazing!I am extremely happy at the fact that I didn't have to have a surgical extraction, especially with the fact that the tooth has undergone a root canal treatment twice. I heard that teeth that have undergone a root canal treatment are more likely to shatter when being extracted. I have a friend who twice, had a tooth extracted and it shattered and they had to cut through gum and bone to remove the rest of the tooth, she said her face was swollen like a balloon and it felt like a truck hit her first, one of the reasons why I wanted to avoid going via NHS for my tooth extraction (although there are some great NHS Dentists out there 😊). I never got dry socket or any infection either, amazing! 😊My friends traumatic experiences also encouraged me more to find a Periodontal specialist as they have undergone further thorough study specifically to do with the gums, and especially as I had a swollen gum already from my gum disease, I really wanted to find an expert, and Dr Ope is definitely an expert. I am super thrilled with the results and could not recommend Dr Ope enough. He is very gentle and patient and an expert in his field. He is very helpful, answered all of my questions and again the whole extraction was pain free. If I was having a dental implant I would definitely be running to sit in Dr Ope's chair as I know the experience would be pain free. 😀 I cannot recommend Dr Ope enough. If you are looking for an expert who genuinely cares about their patients and are competitively priced then I would suggest Dr Ope and his extremely helpful team. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Visiting the London Dental Specialists was a truly lucky decision on my part . Astonishingly great customer service right from the door with a welcoming receptionist and through to Dr Ope Sodeinde and his supporting staff. I went in as an emergency of some sorts; my implant had failed and I needed it fixed asap!All my concerns were handled professionally and with careful consideration for my needs and feelings.I am quite a nervous "Dentist Visitor" but Dr Ope made me really comfortable and made sure I was not in any pain.The final result was beyond a 100. I absolutely love my new implant/tooth. it is the perfect colour match and looks very natural.I highly recommend this Dental practise! May 2021 - London Dental Specialists have looked after my teeth for the last six years and I have always been really pleased with the professional care received from the practice's friendly team.Recently, I fractured one of my molar teeth which had an existing deep filling. This required root canal treatment (completed by Dr Neha Patel) and then the fitting of a crown, after complex work to reshape the tooth (completed by Dr Ope Sodeinde). The treatment process was excellent from start to finish, and Ope and Neha took great care to ensure I felt at ease throughout this. I am very happy with the end result and again have no hesitation in recommending London Dental Specialists.September 2020 - This was my first hygienist appointment at London Dental Specialists in the new world of enhanced PPE and Covid safety measures (I have been a patient of the practice for several years).Stephanie was excellent. As well as carefully cleaning and polishing my teeth, she gave me a number of very useful practical tips on my dental hygiene and brushing technique.I received a warm welcome from Ope and his team as always and felt very safe throughout my appointment.

I cannot recommend the London Dental Specialists highly enough. I have now had two implants (spaced 6 years apart) and the experience has been an entirely positive one throughout each process. My most recent procedure had to be interrupted (COVID etc) but there were never problems re-scheduling and I have felt completely confident and encouraged by Ope Sodeinde and his team. Having a dental implant will inevitably bring its own anxieties, but these are dispelled at LDS who I have always found to be warm, friendly and reassuring whilst at the same time utterly reliable, efficient and professional, acting at the highest standards - and at impressive new premises, too!

I came to the London Dental Specialists and was looked after by Dr Sodeinde. I had a pain in the jaw that the ear specialist suggested it was teeth related. A friendly and professionally run practice. I visited over several months to have 2 implants at the back of my lower gum. The treatment involved bone and gum grafts but the end result was worth the time and money spent. For the first time in many years I am able to eat on both sides of my mouth . I'd previously had implants on the other side at a different practice, but the ones done at London Dental Specialists are a better fit and much more secure.

I had an excellent experience with the team at the London Dental Specialist. Appointments were made to fit around my own working time. In my first appointment, I discussed with Dr. Ope, based on the condition of my affected tooth, why I should have dental implant as opposed to the root canal treatment (I really wanted to keep my natural tooth) I wanted. He took the time to see my reasons and I did his as he gave me good detailed facts only a good dental professional could. I respect that! The procedure was not traumatic and strict COVID-19 guidelines were followed during the procedures. The end result was fantastic - it does not even feel like my natural tooth was replaced with a dental implant. Thank you for the journey to getting me able to chew normally again.

I was so impressed with the root canal treatment and care I received! Within a day of contacting them and sharing my X-rays from my dentist, I received a comprehensive treatment plan by Dr Sodeinde. More importantly, I was only charged for necessary treatment (as opposed to unnecessary consultations), which shows the ethical approach of this practice to patient welfare.The actual treatment by Dr Patel was professional; she seemed like she could do this complicated procedure with her eyes closed, remaining cheerful and upbeat as she walked me through the treatment.The aftercare was much better than anything I’ve received elsewhere, with the practice nurse giving me a call the day after to checkup on any after effect from the anaesthetic or treatment.Would recommend if your dentist is facing a challenging root canal and you’d like to save your tooth!

After having previous dental work that needed correcting, with extensive work needed, I visited a few dental practices for different opinions. I decided to use London Dental Specialists. From the start, the whole team were extremely understanding, non-judgmental, patient and extremely knowledgable. All options were explained clearly and then I was given the opportunity to go away and think about it and had a courtesy follow up appointment to ask any questions or voice any concerns. I can honestly say, from the start I was made to feel like a patient and not an appointment.Treatment commenced in January, and after numerous appointments I will be coming to the end of treatment in a couple of months. I really don’t like the dentist but they have made me feel relaxed, reassured, and I now know that the team are absolute perfectionists and are passionate about what they do. Always going the extra mile. I’m confident any advice they give me really is in my best interest.I travel 1 and 1/2 hours for my appointment, with parking outside, and will continue to do so as I will never use another dentist. Very highly recommend.

My treatment with Ope and his team was a very professional experience.I had extensive work which started in June 2019 ,Ope started on my upper jaw I had all my wobbly teeth removed I had to have a bone graft and gum graft along with implants and new teeth.I felt completely at ease during the whole procedure .The pain was manageable the new teeth amazing.Round two lower jaw started one month later basically the same procedure all over again .Ope and his team again made me feel completely at ease.I came to Ope with rotten, teeth ,gums and bad jaw bone I now have a complete restored mouth with a full set of the most amazing teeth.I did not think it could be possible .

London Dental Specialists helped me with a broken retainer when I was new in town from an international move and hadn't established a regular dentist. Out of all the practices I called, they were the by far the most helpful and professional - and the only ones who tried to fit me in. Visiting the practice was a great experience as well. I had root canal treatment and a dental implant at the end of 2019. I was feeling overwhelmed by the work that needed to be done and worried about what to do. The entire team were caring and extremely understanding of my anxiety. I really trust that my health and wellbeing are always at the centre of any treatment decisions. The procedures were carried out in a way that minimised my discomfort and the aftercare has been excellent. My subsequent hygiene appointments have been thorough - but also carried out in a way that made me much less nervous. Every member of staff is kind, patient and highly knowledgable. I was referred the LDS for a "re-root canal" treatment as a previous root canal had become infected. I am normally anxious about dental work but Dr Patel made me feel very comfortable; she kept me updated throughout and reassured me. I have been having a wonderful experience with Dr Ope and his team! My implant is over 15 years old, and I was worried when I started feeling it moving and saw that the gums around it were inflamed.From the credentials I saw that Dr Ope is a real specialist and was not disappointed! He explains everything carefully and I feel in good hands with him. Also, when my crown fell out, he was able to put it back in place smoothly.They also have a hygienist, Rose, who is not only competent and friendly but also provided great guidance on how to keep the implant clean. Also, the practice manager, Agnes, provides an exceptional level of service which makes communicating with the practice and all things administrative much more pleasant.

I was referred to Dr Ope by my dentist for placing a dental implant following the extraction of a cracked tooth. I am an anxious patient with a low tolerance for pain and a busy work/personal life. It was important for me to have a consultation with Dr Ope and understand the procedure, recovery timeline, provided support, and all the stages until full dental recovery (having a fully functioning replacement of a tooth). I was impressed by Dr Ope's professionalism and personal approach. He provided all the relevant information promptly, described all the costs, made himself available for questions and additional appointments during recovery. I had a dental implant and gum graft, which is not the most pleasant experience. So, it helped a lot to have a caring, positive and experienced surgeon. Dr Ope's practice provides a warranty for dental implants if you attend the hygienist appointments and maintain gum health. I have found that helpful.

Dr. Ope and his team are totally wonderful! I had to have my front tooth removed and replaced with an implant as a result of an old sports injury and I was really worried and anxious about it. Ope took the time to call me personally to reassure me about the process, wrote down the procedure for me in language I could understand and supported me through the whole process. When I looked in the mirror at the end, I couldn’t believe it. He had given me back my smile and my confidence as if nothing had happened. Even after a few years my own dentist had to ask me which tooth the implant was it looked so natural! I am so grateful I was referred to his clinic, and would go again in a heartbeat if I am ever in need of another implant. I recall a shameful dentist trying to get me to have a gum graft at c£7k. I was referred to Ope and his team by my trusted dentist and although I was very anxious at the idea of having to have implants, I felt much more reassured after my initial consultation with Ope. This was my first specialist root canal treatment with Dr Neha Patel and I felt very reassured in her ability. She was incredibly meticulous with her work - retesting measurements and making sure everything was absolutely spot on, despite complications along the way (long and curved roots). She worked late into the night and although I had to hold my mouth open for 3 hours I was very impressed by her (and the Team’s) professionalism and it’s a credit to her desire to achieve the best result for her patients. I saw Dr Ope for an initial exam and Dr Neha for a root canal which needed to be re-done. I found both to be very good at taking the time to answer questions and explain my options. The root canal was a complex one which another dentist had struggled with and left incomplete, but Dr Neha seems to have done a good job of sorting it out. The experience was comfortable and very professional.

I had a long period of the problem with my teeth. I had suffered caused nerve pain daily. I went to several dental practices and they told me that there was nothing they can do to help my teeth getting better. I have done some reach for a dental specialist and I glad I came to cross meet Ope and His entire team Jane, Anna, Katerina, Sophie, and lots more... Ope and I had long discussed with my teeth based on the condition of my affected teeth, why I should have a dental implant the treatment. His patient and care for details were phenomenal, It took about a year time to finish the treatment, the overall he and his entire team manner is exceptional; I have never encountered such a brilliant dentist that goes above and beyond at his job if I had known Dr. Ope before and I may save my natural teeth. I was completely happy with the result which I can be eating normally again. I also undertake hygiene treatment with Ope right now. I can't speak highly enough of the service I've received from London Dental Specialists. Ope Sodeinde and his team are highly professional, skilled, friendly and patient. Ope has a wealth of Periodontal experience and knowledge which he used to good effect.My treatment consisted of the removal of 2 teeth, upper left at the back of my mouth (they had to go due to receding Gum). I then had multiple bone grafts, two implants and finally a Bridge. Due to the complex space & shape at the back of the mouth, Ope came up with a novel approach to positioning the implants (I suspect other specialists may have given up well before then!). I now have a perfectly formed and functioning Bridge which matches the colour and shape of my other teeth .I can now eat on that side of my mouth, speak with confidence and pain free. I can't tell you how much better I feel with a full set of teeth.I highly recommend the services of Ope and his team at the London Dental Specialists and I will continue to use Ope's services in the future.

I am incredibly grateful for Dr Ope and his amazing team. I have complex dental issues which have resulted in the loss of 3 teeth. So far, I've had 4 rounds of deep cleaning and a tooth extraction (which was complelety painless, Ope is a magician). Next up, is a bone graft and dental implants. I also need gum grafts. Throughout my treatment, Ope has discussed all the options and we have worked together to come up with a plan that is right for me. He has kept every single promise he has made. Ope and his team have treated me with extraordinary kindness and compassion. I have no hesitation in recommending London Dental Specialists. If you have dental issues you are worried about, please go and see Ope. For the first time in years, I'm not worried about my teeth because I know that whatever happens, Ope will have a plan.

I came to Ope with an impacted wisdom tooth that sat directly on the trigeminal nerve and needed immediate treatment following a local trauma to the area. He & his team had me CBCT scanned & out of surgery within 48 hours of that first phone call. Ope is kind, warm, and reassuring, while also being immensely professional & down-to-business. He's also very generous with his time. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive and efficient experience!

Had my tooth taken out today at London Dental Specialists. Not a fan of needles but the experience was seamlessly effortless. I was referred to Ope in October 2020 while in a very difficult situation regarding dental implants. I had suffered serve nerve pain and was undergoing investigations to find out the root problem. His patient, attention to care and overall manner is exceptional; I have never encountered such a brilliant dentist that goes above and beyond his job. He swiftly made sure I had a CBCT scan completed and a radiographer report, and then referred me to a pain specialist very promptly. This all took place over the space of a week; I was completely amazed at how quickly Ope managed to deal with my problem. I was beyond satisfied with the treatment I received and the follow-up care. I will be undertaking further treatment with Ope in the future. If you are looking for a dentist who makes you comfortable, is excellent at his job and has a kind manner, I highly recommend The London Dental Specialists.

I have been going to London dental specialists for a year now. It started with the removal of my wisdom teeth then moved to braces (which i was not a big fan of initially) but the experience, the overall service and dental care has been brilliant and I can’t recommend this practise enough. 5 stars all round from me.

LDS has treated me for the past 25years. With severely reduced upper gums (due to over zealous flossing) LDS fitted two upper molar dental implants. My upper incisors are glued together to provide a firm bite. For years I have enjoyed eating as though I had a full set of teeth and complete gums. Great.

I had a bad infection on my font teeth. Other dentists suggested me to do the dental extraction and implant. Dr Neha and Ope provide an alternative solution and saved my teeth. Rather than the extraction, they carefully operated a root canal. There is no pain except anesthesian injection at the very beginning of the operation and no pain afterwards.

I was referred to the London Dental Specialists by my Dentist(NHS) for a root canal procedure Oct 2021. Dr Ope from the beginning was very friendly, professional, and performed a thorough investigation. The findings were discussed and it turned out I also needed to have a crown lengthening procedure first. The surgery was performed by Dr Ope and went very well - no pain! Follow up hygienist appointment by Miss O'Keefe and root canal by Dr Patel were the same excellent high standards. The lovely Agnes would call after each procedure to see how I was and if I had any questions, which we were always answered by Dr Ope! Excellent service over all and highly recommended dental practice.

I've had a number of problems with root canals and the need for extensive complicated treatment resulting in five crowns. It's been a long process lasting a year and several appointments have been 3, 4 or in one case 5 hours. I've found Ope and his colleagues and junior staff consistently courteous, positive and remarkably energetic considering how demanding the work must be for them. There's a lot of expense involved and that's not a small thing but there's never any question you're in the care of real experts who've had years of training and experience and have premises and staff and insurance costs to justify the expense. And in appropriate ways they've reminded me that I have a role to play in the care of my own teeth and been patient in showing me where I could do better. These are good, kind, highly professional people doing an excellent job and I'm glad to recommend them highly.
