Patient Story – Tooth Loss Due to Gum Disease Part 2

Gum disease frequently leads to teeth moving away from their usual position which leads to cosmetic issues. Although it is possible to improve the appearance with porcelain veneers, the final results are not going to last very long. This is why I prefer to recommend that patients see a braces specialist who is experienced in treating patients who have had severe gum disease. In this second part of a 2-part blog.

I describe a patient who had beautiful cosmetic braces to align her lower front teeth after successful gum disease treatment. She was very happy with the cosmetic result and was also glad to be able to keep her teeth!!
