Single and multiple dental implants in London

A single implant replaces one missing tooth with its own titanium root and crown; multiple implants replace several teeth, each on its own post or shared across a bridge. Dr Ope Sodeinde confirms your suitability and timeline at a specialist consultation.

Replacing one or several missing teeth

A gap in your smile can make you hesitant to smile or speak freely, and if more than one tooth is missing you may be wondering whether they can all be replaced at once and how long it takes. We answer both at the clinical assessment for dental implants in London, where Dr Ope Sodeinde assesses your bone density and oral health and draws up a plan for your restoration.

What the assessment establishes

The assessment measures the bone volume and gum health available to support the implants. If you have a history of periodontal problems, we give specific guidance on implants with gum disease, because infection has to be controlled before an implant is placed. You can find a breakdown of what dental implants cost, itemised to plan your budget. Dr Ope Sodeinde plans and places the implants at our Primrose Hill practice.

Who can receive these restorations

We treat patients who need to replace a single gap or several teeth in one area of the mouth. Dr Ope Sodeinde assesses bone density and gum health to decide the approach, including whether implants with receding gums need grafting first for a stable foundation. We match the implant systems we place to the anatomy of your jaw.

Your path to tooth replacement

Mapping your implant requirements

We start by establishing how many teeth need replacing and whether you need a single unit or multiple tooth implants supporting a larger structure. Dr Ope Sodeinde decides whether individual crowns, implant-supported bridges or a full mouth restoration fits your case. You can view patient cases and stories to see how these configurations work in practice.

Surgical placement of the implants

The titanium posts are placed in the jawbone. Where several teeth are being replaced, the implants can usually be placed in one session. If a whole arch is missing, we offer All-on-4 full-arch implants as the alternative to individual replacements.

Bone and tissue integration

The implants bond with the bone over the following months. We check the site during this period to confirm the posts are stable enough to carry a crown or bridge before moving to the final restoration.

Fitting the custom restoration

The final crowns or bridge are fitted to the integrated implants. For several adjacent teeth, the implants carry a bridge that fills the gap. The fit is checked closely, because an accurate fit protects the implants underneath.

Long-term stability checks

Regular reviews monitor the gum around each implant and the stability of the restoration. Consistent maintenance is what keeps an implant healthy over the long term.

Care is led by Dr Ope Sodeinde, specialist periodontist, who owns London Dental Specialists and is registered as a specialist in periodontics (GDC No. 104071).

Patient evidence

Patient results and clinical precision

Patients who review us tend to mention a calm, unhurried manner and options explained without pressure, which matters most to people who are anxious about dental work.

Alongside Dr Ope Sodeinde, the team includes Dr Neha Patel, specialist in endodontics, Dr Kia Papagalani, specialist orthodontist, and Dr Nicky Dehbonei and Dr Lydia Dzhukha, dentists with special interests. Having endodontic and orthodontic specialists in the same practice matters when a case involves saving neighbouring teeth or making space before placing implant supported bridges.

Implant planning and costs

Can you get multiple implants at once?

Yes, in most cases several implants can be placed in a single session. Dr Ope Sodeinde assesses your bone density and oral health to confirm this is the safest route. If you want a tooth fitted on the day of surgery, we also offer same-day dental implants.

How much do multiple implants cost?

Cost depends on the number of implants and whether bone grafting is needed. The consultation ends with an itemised breakdown of every fee, so there are no hidden costs.

How much does a single implant cost?

The figure depends on the restoration your mouth needs: the implant itself, the abutment and the crown, plus any grafting. We quote it after diagnosis rather than before.

How long does single or multiple implant treatment take?

It depends on your bone and whether a healing period is needed before the crown is fitted. We give you a schedule of visits at the initial assessment.

Assess your implant suitability

Cost is the first thing most people ask about, and a diagnosis-led plan means you pay only for the treatment you need. The assessment covers your bone density and oral health, and whether a grafting sequence is required first. You can see what the £195 consultation includes and how to book it to get a precise clinical plan. Putting treatment off is normal; sedation is available if dental visits make you anxious.

Further implant options

Related reading covers implants with gum disease, implants with receding gums, All-on-4 full-arch implants, same-day dental implants, and implant-supported bridges.

The consultation ends with a written plan and an itemised quote, yours to keep and use at any practice. It includes in-mouth x-rays and a complimentary second appointment to discuss the plan before you decide.

The £195 consultation fee goes towards the cost of any treatment you choose to have with us; it is not an extra on top. We offer a 10-year implant warranty, subject to its written conditions. Local anaesthetic is standard and sedation is available.
