Begg Technique - The Begg technique consists of three stages: opening anterior bite, closing anterior spaces, and root correction. - It involves the use of bite opening bends and class II elastics. - The technique was introduced to the United States by Harold Kesling and George Dishham. - Dr. Kesling popularised the technique in the United States. - In 1959, the results of the Begg technique were assessed by over 150 orthodontists.
