This comprehensive practical two day ‘hands-on’ course will discuss aspects of the indications of use, practical design, clinical and laboratory steps required to fabricate and fit these appliances.
You will work in a pair within a laboratory environment to fabricate a hard splint for each other from initial impression and jaw relationship records, through fitting and with a follow up review
You will experience first-hand, the process of having an occlusal splint made for you as part of the course; this is extremely useful in understanding the importance of the various aspects of the process. The course qualifies as 14 hours of verifiable CPD.
The aim of the course is that course participants will come away feeling more confident to be able to implement what they have learnt over the two-day programme into their clinical practice.
